Although her writing has taken her to major crime scenes and inside court rooms, today Stephanie Erickson Doyle specializes in professional writing and editing of three majpr subjects: medicine, fitness and the equine industry. She has nearly two decades experience communicating to consumers and health-care providers about breakthroughs and issues surrounding a spectrum of health- and fitness-related topics. Now living in Kentucky, Doyle also continues to grow her longtime passion for horses, advancing her education and skills in the equine industry.

A former 15-year journalist, her writing has appeared in magazines, newspapers, and newsletters, and on Web sites. From proofreading and copyediting to heavy editing and major rewrites, Doyle has an eye for detail and an instinctive feel for words.

When she’s not working on the next pediatrics newsletter or cardiology article, she also attends and reports on medical conferences. And her interests in fitness and horses goes beyond the keyboard - she is a certified personal trainer, as well as running coach, nutrition coach, and triathlon coach. Doyle also is a skilled Saddle Seat and Western rider, is completing her veterinary technician degree, volunteers at several equine facilities, and has completed courses in everything from horse behavior and welfare to post-natal care.

Doyle also is author of the nonfiction book, Florida Unsolved Mysteries (Cliff Road Books, 2007).
